About Mandy
Background, Education, & Certifications
I became certified as a Personal Trainer at age 15. I worked consistently in the field increasing my skills and knowledge through college. I attended Millersville University where I gained clinical confidence as well as a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology.
I served as an Athletic Trainer for Millersville’s Team Sports . I dedicated my time to Millersville’s Student Memorial Center where I joined the wellness team as their first Certified Personal Trainer.
I feel a strong connection to assisting those whose bodies are no longer in congruence with their mental outlook. I continue to expand my understanding of physical mechanics as I recently completed my certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist. As a Fitness Coach I will be sitting for the National Board of Health and Wellness certification exam. This credential represents the highest standard in training, education and assessment.
"I specialize in assisting those managing chronic physical issues due to stress, trauma, and age. I train and treat those looking to improve their physical stature, performance and balance. I provide personalized regiments to better your function in your daily routine. Specialized exercise therapy techniques are used alongside corrective movements and isolation exercises. Guidance with accessible fitness routines for the preparation of surgery, the recovery from an injury or trauma, the transition from physical or cardiac therapy, or the management of life changing diagnosis such as Parkinsons, ALS, Osteoporosis, Stenosis, POTS, CMT, diabetes, or neuropathy. I have expanded my professional relationships within the Lancaster community to include Orthopedic Masseuses, Dietitians, Anesthesiologists, Orthopedists, and Physical Therapists. Overall, guiding clients to manage their lifestyle with movement is my expertise."

Professionals we Trust
Dedicated to the Community
I am honored for the opportunities to serve through the following organizations:
The City YMCA knows me today as an empathetic guide to the ailing body as it handles trauma and age. It is the most supportive environment both professionally and personally. I am blessed to have befriended dozens of wise, resourceful men and women. Those relationships have brought me through some very rough times and celebrated me in rewarding times. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the staff and members at the YMCA for all their encouragement. Today I have a career and a support system. The City YMCA is my extended family.
